CARSON CITY — State Controller Kim Wallin has added a weekly summary of Nevada’s American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) activity to her website. This weekly summary details the most current ARRA activity in Nevada providing timely transparency and accountability.

This summary complements the quarterly Citizen-Centric Report. Each Citizen-Centric Report is a two-page document summarizing the financial activity as of the end of the quarter and specific information about ongoing stimulus projects such as transportation, public safety and energy and their impact to Nevada.

Wallin took the lead in creating a Citizen-Centric Report on stimulus funds and, as a result, she was featured in the summer 2010 issue of the Journal of Government Financial Management, discussing the process engaged in compiling the report and the positive feedback from citizens and the media in making this information available to the public.
