RENO –– For the first time ever, the nation’s largest free hot-air balloon festival, The Great Reno Balloon Race, will be auctioning off a wedding package valued at more than $50,000.

The Love is in the Air Wedding will be awarded to the highest-bidding couple, who will get married during the balloon race on Sept. 11 at Rancho San Rafael Regional Park.

Bidding starts at $25,000 and bids will be accepted at www.renoballoon.com/Wedding through May 1 at midnight. All proceeds will go to the balloon race, which is a nonprofit community event.

This exclusive wedding package will be provided to the lucky bride and groom by the Weddings of the West Association, and will include a hot-air balloon ride after the ceremony, wedding planner and a choice of two unique honeymoons.

The package provides the bridal couple with all of the amenities necessary for a once-in-a lifetime dream wedding, including catering, photographers and videographers, florists, a wedding cake and much more.
For a full list of products and services included in the package or to place a bid, visit www.renoballoon.com or call the balloon race hotline at 826-1181.
